Tips for burning candles: Do not burn candles unattended Do not burn candle for longer than 4 hours at a time Allow the candle to fully melt all the way to the edges of the vessel, each time you burn the candle (approximately 1-2 hrs); this will prevent tunneling. Burn candle on a flat surface, away from drapes, or other hanging fabrics. Trim wick ( 1/4 inch) between each burn with a wick trimmer; a nail clipper works well also.
